Go batty!

These scary bats will make Halloween a real scream!


What you'll need

  • Scissors
  • Heavy-duty stapler
  • Black duct tape
  • Black construction paper
  • White craft paint or reflective stickers
  • Fishing line (optional)

    • How to do it...

    Body

    Roll a piece of paper into a tube and staple in place. Flatten one end and staple the front of the tube to the back. Cut an arch into that end to make a tail. Cut the other end to form ear shapes.

    Wings

    Cut identical wing shapes out of two pieces of paper. Staple both wings to the back of the tube.

    Eyes

    Use paint or reflective stickers to create eyes.

    Let 'em fly

    Tape the bats to a wall or string them from a tree with fishing line.

    Tip: Work with an adult to create these creepy crafts.
