NG Kids 2011 Photography Competition results

 
Thanks to everyone who entered our 2011 Photography Competition! Thousands of you sent in amazing pictures, making it a tough job for our judges, National Geographic photographers and filmmakers, Beverly and Dereck Joubert and TV presenter, Andy Akinwolere, to choose the winners - but here they are!
 


Humour category winner and British Isles'

International photo fun
The winning photos from all four categories will be entered into our International Photography Competition, to compete against NG Kids readers from all over the world! And they’ll also be in with a chance of winning a trip to National Geographic HQ in Washington DC, USA! Abigail, Catie and Catherine will also get a Nikon COOLPIX S3100 camera, so they can start snapping for next year’s competition!
