The Legend of Dick and Dom
Fresh from their six mile run in Nottingham for Sport Relief, we catch up with Dick and Dom to get the low on turning into chimps, forgetting lines and giving Jedward piggy backs... NG Kids Hi guys! How did you prepare for the Sport Relief run?
Dick Lot's of running! We're also training for the London Marathon so we’ve been very busy!
Dom I went running three times a week. OK the truth... I went about once a week!
NGK What other ways would you like to raise money for Sport Relief?
Dom Something that really tests the human mind and body – like giving Jedward a piggy back across Ireland!
NGK What’s your favorite thing about series two of The Legend of Dick and Dom?
Dick We meet lot's of weird and wonderful characters on this quest! Making this series was brilliant. We kept forgetting our lines and falling into fits of laughter – Dom did it more than any of us!
NGK This series sees people turning into animals – which creature would you like to turn into?
Dick A duckbilled platypus!
Dom An angry chimp – it’s not that far removed from me at the moment!
NGK The outfits you wear in the show look very posh – what were they like to wear?
Dick They were very tight and if you'd eaten too many pies they'd burst open!
Dom They were heavy and fiddly. It took ages to get into them at 7am. It was worth it though – the costume designer, Jane, won an award for them!
NGK Tell us a secret about a character in the show?!
Dick Prince Dom is actually a little girl in disguise!
Dom Prince Dom's the eldest brother, even though in real life Dick is (and looks) older!
Catch The Legend of Dick And Dom Wednesdays, 5.15pm on CBBC, and Sundays, 8.30am on BBC Two!
